Shi Shu is a second-year student of the Master of Architecture program. He is pursuing the Healthcare Certificate from the College of Architecture's Center for Health Systems and Design. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Hebei University of Technology, China.
Shi Shu's research interests are in healthcare and sustainable design in architecture and urban planning fields. He is currently researching on the benefits of dynamic glass for energy savings, visual comfort and building occupant's health. In his design projects, he focuses on daylighting and sustainable technologies. He is working in his Final Studies project.
He will travel to Japan to participate in the Summer Program at Kyushu University. He is an active member of TAMU's Student Health Environments Association (SHEA).
