SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS
DrAL PAPER AND TRAVEL AWARDS
Design Research for Active Living (DrAL) paper and travel awards are available to DrAL students for the 2019-20 academic year.
- DrAL PAPER AWARDS: $1000 per lead-authored journal paper published or accepted
- DrAL TRAVEL AWARDS: One conference trip up to $1000 for an original, lead-authored, and peer-reviewed presentation related to a DrAL research project (e.g. ALA, AEP)
One student may receive only one of these awards and the number of awards depends on the availability of funds each year.
DrAL DIRECTORS’ AWARDS
DrAL Directors’ Award is established in 2018 to recognize strong commitment to active living-related research/design and excellent service to the DrAL group housed under CHSD.
DrAL SCHOLARSHIPS
Design Research for Active Living (DrAL) scholarships are awarded to graduate students in the College of Architecture with an expressed interest in research and/or evidence-based design related to active living, and with a strong potential to become a leading scholar/professional in this interdisciplinary field. The number and amount of awards may vary each year.
